Apodis Publishing was incorporated as a print-on-demand subsidy publisher in March 2005 by editor and founder Cavan Terrill. In May 2006, Apodis dropped the subsidy portion of its operation.
Apodis Publishing utilizes print-on-demand technology in the production of its books. POD technology, as opposed to traditional offset printing, is a more affordable method of producing books and, therefore, allows us to offer our authors higher royalties than a traditional publisher.
Apodis books are released in electronic formats under the Creative Commons license. This means that you are free to copy and distribute the book so long as the work is attributed to the author, no commercial benefit is gained from the work, and that the work is not altered or transformed. Full copies of the Creative Commons license will be part of each electronic file.
